I have a flagstone patio which appears to be set on a concrete pad, then attached to the pad grouted with concrete. Need to fill in an area cut out for a rose garden some years ago. Any advice on how to do this — how thick concrete? Is it necessary today? What use to adhere flagstone to concrete? Set stone in wet concrete? Help!
