A few times on tv I’ve seen how professional insulators shoot foam into wall cavities. The stuff sticks to the surface and expands real quick. I’ve tried a few of the canned foams out there. When I use them in a vertical or overhead application, they take a couple of hours to expand and dry. In the meantime, most of the product falls out of wherever I’m trying to put it and makes a big mess. Is there any canned or small scale product available that performs like the stuff the pros use?

Excellence is its own reward!
On this weeks TOH they replaced some windows and shot foam in the weight cavities and drill holes in the sill and injected foam in that cavity.
They used a TWO PART kit like those that Fomoco or Tigger (or other sell). They immediately scrapped off the excess, it had already hardened. Note thata those companies also sell 1 part foams.
I looked in the credits and they listed Iycne (sp?) so it don't know if they have those kits for touchup or not or if that credit was for another part of the job.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
I saw that show also. That's what got me thinking of my disaster trying to fill a weight pocket with foam.
after use'n maybe.... a thousand cans from every manufacturer... i read the directions on one the other day....
said to wet the surface to be foamed... that it would speed the cure time and have more volume of foam/ expand more...
so with mist bottle in hand i tried it... yep it works...
just thought i'd toss that bit of info out there

thanks, I'll try that. Maybe I should try reading the can sometimes too!
