we are replacing the foundation on our 1820’s cape, and I would really appreciate some info on the following. 1)what waterproof coatings are preferred on the exterior, sub-level walls and why (i.e. tar/vapor barrier vs. spray foam vs. spray rubber products vs. whatever) 2) what vapor barriers under the floor are preferred and why (i.e. plastic vs. tuf-cote vs. whatever) please be specific about the products you know.
