I’ve got two PC 350 stick nailers. They’ve been pretty reliable but they’ve’e both started to jam, especially with #8 rings. I’m not as sure with 16s. I’ve noticed that when I put two clips in that they will overlap each other and jam the gun. It’s a pain, I have to put in one clip at a time. I’ve tightened everything on the nail feed rail and tried to put it into “spec” shape, put it’s driving me mad. I can hand nail faster.
So, is this an inherent problem with the PC, could it be the nails? Is it time to buy a Hitachi?
Thanks

Are they oiled are they clean not gunked up with that black crap, oil and dirt?
I had that problem a while back. It was the nails.
I changed nail brands, and then tried it. No jams, no problems. I then cleaned the gun up spic and span, and have had no troubles since.
I had the same problem with a DeVilbiss framing gun. Changed nail brands, and the problem went away.
You might want to try that anyway.

The hitachi's do it too. Put 2 racks in and they over-ride each other. Make sure your magazine isn't bent and don't let the feed spring fly down when loading.
I didn't do it....the buck does NOT stop here.
HiThanks for responding. I've been using the nails that are sold at Home Dead Spot ( did you know the mark up on nails at HD is the highest in the store!) what brand nails have you been using. I'm going to start buying them at the lumber yard or at my tool supllier. My other thought was to change to a coil nailer for the ring nails. Thanks again
