My husband and I are planning to build a universal-designed retirement house in New England (about 1200 miles from where we live now.) We have lots of ideas that need to be incorporated into a design.
Our problem: how do we find a “full service organization” that can coordinate the site evaluation, site prep work, house design, construction, landscape design, oversee construction, paperwork, etc.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

The architecture/engineering firm I work for regularly does construction management of our designs for an additional fee. I would check with reputable architects in your area first.

Where in New England? Maybe someone here knows of a lead in that area. And what do you mean by 'universal designed'?
Do it right, or do it twice.

Universal design aranges things so that anybody can live there comfortably. the term is becoming more widely used as the population ages and anticipates wheelchairs..

Actually I was thinking of you, but it would be nice to know if the project is in your market area. If not you, then surely there is aniother Piffen within reasonable distance. (Oh God...another Piffen...can you imagaine!?)Do it right, or do it twice.
We're planning to build near Concord, New Hampshire. Does anyone know of a designer/builder or an architect in that area that they'd recommend?
Look for me!
Not really, but a design/build firm with experience in the area you plan to live is one answer. The suggestion of an archy who does site management is another.
