I’m getting ready to build a shed with a gambrel roof and have been having trouble finding what roof pitches are commonly used. Can anyone help me? I’m looking for recommendations for both the lower and upper pitch.
Thanks,
Bill Dawson

No one answered? Looking for the same info.
Find a roof you like and check the angles with a saw protractor. (Stand a distance away, hold the protractor with one leg level, and adjust the other leg to match the roof angle. Read the value.) Or google "gambrel roof angles".
we typically use 24/12 top and 12/12 bottom
