I want to replace a window that is in a tub surround with glass block when I re-tile the area. wondering if ayone has experience getting glass block to be smooth with the face of the tile. I would like it to be continuous. Seems there is a channel to hide though which would need the tile to be proud of the block to hide it. Anyone have ideas?

Chuck, the block is flat front and rear, the channel is in the center where the mortar and reinforcing grid is. You can set the block so the surface is flush with your tile. Joe H
*You can get glass block window units made up w/o a jamb. It'll be mortered together and banded. Set it where you wish. Do concern yourself with the exterior detail as well.
