700 Foot Triangular Window to be installed at Bethel Lutheran Church

Craftsmen at Classic Glass Limited of Fargo are building what will be the largest single stained glass window in North Dakota. More than two thousand pieces of glass from a palette of 61 colors will go into the 700 square foot triangular window. When completed, it will be installed in Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton. Talk about replacing the old window began 12 years ago. Dave Hetland, window designer stated, “It’s really been fun for me to see it come full circle and they decided that now was the time to do it and they’re going for it and I think that’s terrific.” Total cost of the window project will be around one hundred thousand dollars. Completion and installation is expected by late summer.
