Hi Y’all,
I have to make some pieces of custom flooring for a repair job.
Is there a tongue and groove router bit specifically for flooring or do I just get your basic T&G set?
Thanks, Weogo

Hi Weogo, Woodline Arizona does have a tongue and groove shaper cutter that mills a radiused tongue and groove for an easy match.
Check out their website. http://www.woodbits.com
*Yeah, I bought my t+g shapers cutters from Cascade Tools in Seattle. I think they were bought out by Grizzly a few years ago.
*I wondered what happened to Cascade, darn those buyouts anyway. David Vaughn
*You did not mention what thickness and how much you have to make. If it is just a few pieces it seems a bit expensive to buy the grizzly set (in my several year old catalog at $130 -- 3/4" bore shaper cutters)
*Weogo,You could replace all the flooring with 22 inch boards. I hear oak burl makes good floors. LOL
*You want floor T&G cutters with the tongue lower than the centerline, so it can be sanded a number of times. Grizzly or Woodworkers Supply sells them. If it's only a few pieces, cut the T&G on the tablesaw with a fence on both sides of the work (not necessary, but safer.) Ease the tongue edges with a sanding block.
*Hi Y'all,The router bit, with the bullnose tongue, was only $46.75, including shipping from Woodline Arizona. Thanks and good health, Weogo
