I was at a trade show today and stumbled on a new product that I really like. Ironically, I gave a customer a price just this week to retrofit a ADA grab bar into her shower–I thought she would faint when she saw the cost! Now, I can go back to her with an alternative she can afford, thanks to this Wingit gizmo.I won’t try to describe the thing, just that a very large rep was swinging on a grab bar suspended from a sheetrock and tile wall section-and not attached to any framing or blocking! The link to their site is: http://www.wingits.com/ Apparently this system has many different applications, including hand rails, baby changing tables, bathroom enclosures, etc. It is really quite impressive and worth a look!
