Gutter "technology" and/or …

Any recommendations before I install a new gutter on a new house?

I’ve looked at everything from aluminum and vinyl and even Rainhandler but still haven’t made up my mind.

I’m looking for something that is not “ugly” and doesn’t detract from the house AND doesn’t cost a lot of money. (there’s always a catch)
