Is there a significant difference between the different gutter guard manufacturers? and what is a reasonable price to pay per foot $6?

Do a search here at BT. This has been discussed at length several times.
Some of it depends on what kind of trees you have near your house since different guards work better with different leaves - ie: pine needles, willow leaves (small and narrow), or big fat oak leaves....
BTW - I see you are in NC - what area? I'm in the Raleigh area....
Winston Salem... lived in Chapel Hill for a few... have buddies in Cary. Need to head that way...gorgeous day today...
Winston Salem huh... DW and I went to the Moravian town there maybe 6 months ago... pretty interesting structures & architecture but also the religious aspect.
What else is interesting in WS - we like to take day trips just to see what is around.
BTW - we got the WaterFall gutter guards. I'm pretty happy with them. Pine needles do get caught in the grove sometimes so there are 2 spots I have to check about once a year. I'm thinking there were $2/ft or $3/ft but can't really remember - that was 8 years ago and the guy put them on when he did the gutters. I'd say don't get the screens if you have any pine trees. We have mostly hardwoods, but a few long leaf pines.

I bought the snap-on screens at HD and have had good luck with them. There are two styles -- with and without a fine top screen -- and the one with the fine screen is probably better for pine needles, etc.
Note that they will only work with K-style gutters, and you may need to notch the front edge at ferrules/clamps.
The price, IIRC, is on the order of $5 per 3-foot section. Comes in white and brown.
