I recently designed some architectural details on a house that included removing the soffits, exposing the tails, and adding angled braces to the overhang. I really don’t want to have gutter downspouts that interfere with the aesthetics of the braces. What options do I have? Is there a catch basin concept where I can let the gutters drain either through a very short downspout or out the end cap?
