I just noticed some older comments regarding the “Woody” hammer in your
forum. Here’s an update for anyone interested. Hart Tool Company , now
owned by Dead On Tools is no longer making the T.C. designed hammers.
Douglas Tool was founded to insure the quality and availability of these
tools. The founder and inventor, T. Douglas Coonrad, is currently
making and selling his hammers in limited quantities. Douglas Tool is
moving into a new facility in Santa Cruz, California. They plan to hit
the market with wild new developments Spring/Summer 2000.

Just how "wild" can Mr. Coonrad get with new developments in the age old practice of "driving nails"?
Just wondering what I should budget.
I currently own 2 different Hart tape measures and at least 6 different bammers. Have to admit, I have worn out the tapes but the "bammers" have been abused.
Are you planning to improve your 'head to handle' connections for those of us who bought them at the local big box retailers and Ace Hardwares? I especially liked your "special edition" Tim the Tool Man Hammers".[g]
Santa Cruz??
Yeah, yeah.....that's the ticket.
All good tools come from Santa Cruz, right?
We will believe it when we see it.......in HOME DEPOT????
