HD cell installing – Cavity size and …

Can HD cell be made HD (3.5 #’s) in large cavities such as a bay window roof area.

AND

I am using open trusses to replace studs so I get an R 30 wall (8″ cavity depth). Do I have to close off each stud bay from the adjoining bay to get the resistence and enclosure space for achieving the desired density?
