Hi,
Got myself stuck here. I’m remodeling this small studio apt. I thought it would look good with some beadboard wainscoting. It has been a bit of a nightmare. Nothing level, square or plumb. Just getting to the final push now but I can’t figure out how to finish up the trim. I’m basically stuck on how to finish the transition of the beadboard to the tile on inside edge of the shower frame. Hope the pictures help.
Thanks,
Mike

IMO, that vertical corner piece should've been scribed and cut to fit the corner, so that you could put a return piece around the corner, then bring the tile around the corner of the shower and join the two somewhere in the middle.
So, looks like you'll have to remove that piece, then scribe and cut a new one, in order to get back on track.
I would do the same thing as Hudson Valley said but I would use a piece of 1x to cover all of the end wall, the tile ends and the already installed stile.
The top rail and baseboard would continue around the corner. So instead of having the beadboard, there would just be solid 1x.

DAve,
Thanks, That's the direction I was thinking. I'm in FL and working with no AC with mosquitoes so it's hard to think straight. I should have planned it a bit better. What I'll do is scribe the 1x on the face of the end piece and just take that to the level of the panel. Put in the finish cap/ledge and then put up another 1x above the ledge to the ceiling with a small return on the drywall side. If it looks decent I post the pics, if it looks decent.
