I’ve added a small addition to the back of the house and used Tyvek house wrap for the first time.
Looking for advice on 2 things :
1) how to integrate with existing exterior walls where new walls meet old walls (vinyl siding over original wood)
2) best way to finish the bottom of the Tyvek (at mud sill)

1) I would think that it depends on just what the joint between new and old looks like. In any event, I'd imagine that Tyvek Tape plays a role.
2) Staples + Tyvek Tape, and/or 3m All-Weather Flashing Tape (#8067).
Caulking might also be involved, but it depends on the kind of joint you're talking about.

It's good if you can capture the bottom end of the Tyvek behind some sort of solid strip. The starter strip for siding generally serves this purpose.
