I have a Kapax brad nailer that has quit working. I suspect oil buildup inside of gun, but am not sure. There is nothing jammed as I checked by pulling the nose piece apart. The gun worked this past weekend just fine and quit rather abruptly. I took the trigger apart and all seems OK with the sequential trip trigger so I am thinking that something may be clogged in the head of the gun. This is where I have stopped as I know nothing of the internals at this point! There is a very small amount of air leaking at the trigger when the air is connected, but nothing seems to be getting to the head of the gun.
Any ideas or suggestions, or links that may have exploded diagrams or parts list would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all in advance!

Never heard of that brand.
Had a Senco framer (since been stolen) that quit abruptly as you describe. I had forgotten to oil it for the day. Didn't have a new o ring set, so I just took it apart, lubed the o rings well, put it back together, and it was fine.
Maybe try the same therapy with your brad nailer.

Thanks for the quick reply! I think the Kapax is a "generic" nailer that a lot of the "discount tool" suppliers sell under various name brands!
I have seen a lot of guns that look exactly like mine except for color variances!
Thanks again!!!
They're pretty simple inside, so I'd suggest simply taking the head off and peaking in. As long as you keep everything in the right order it's not difficult at all to get most of them back together. Simply wipe everything down with a clean cloth, oil anything that moves, replace your brocken widget and you're back in business.
