I like what i think i'm seeing with a tub/shower combo in RR bath 1. No curtain needed?

"I like what i think i'm seeing with a tub/shower combo in RR bath 1. No curtain needed?"Right- slipped in a Kohler 32x48 soaking tub- even kept old shower tiles. Really nice showering without a curtain.Bill

Very good idea on the shower. Is it difficult to step over the slanted back?Like McDesign, i love that stainless around the FP, too. Be proud, be very proud.

"Very good idea on the shower. Is it difficult to step over the slanted back?"Not really, but it is difficult to clean without climbing in. Flat is 3 flights of stairs up, so folks who are less than hearty need not apply, anyway.Bill

I just stand up and swab out the tub at the end of festivities anyway, so no prob.

It really does my heart good when someone does what they want instead of with an eye to resale. Congrats on having the creativity to think of it and the moxie to stick to it.

You're right- we also installed heated towel bars, so I dry everything with the towel after the shower- it's bone-dry and toasty within a couple of hours. Also, the DW is a professional Designer, so I get no credit for the vision- only "executing" her ideas!ps- it is actually for resale, and is currently on the market.BIll

I was working yesterday for the woman who bought my Victorian, who is fixing to rip out the cabinets/window seat/F&P wainscoting i installed in the LR, in favor of walnut-stained oak bokcases, probably from Target. It's sad to see such a lack of imagination, but i enjoyed the process and product before the sale. That's what i meant...that the specter of resale didn't drive your [wife's] vision to be smaller than it is.I'm looking into a solar heat/RFH system for my current house. I've never read about anyone running the floor loop up through the towel bar, but i like it. I'm probably re-inventing a wheel, if i only knew it.

That's a cool (no 'reverse' pun intended) idea! We just used WarmRails electric towel bars, mounted them to the wall, plugged 'em in to GFCI-protected outlets. Love it!

Like David Doud said, not my style but really well done. You took the look and spread it throughout the whole place, well done!

Is that kohler's "Greek" tub in the bath?  I just put one of those in for someone.  Neat little tub.

"Is that kohler's "Greek" tub in the bath?"I think so- it is Kohler. More comfortable than it might look- very deep- I can comfortably bathe, and I'm 6'.Bill
