SYSOP,
Maybe I’m just a hick from Texas, but it seems as though when answering a post in the past I didn’t have to scroll left and right to read what I just typed. It is very anoying. Can you help?

ed,
i'll work on finding a good middle ground (prob. is, on internet explorer, this message box renders MUCH smaller).
sean.
*Sean I noticed the same thing happening last night, tonight it's not happening.. . I use Netscape. Ghost in your machine???-pm
*I'm using Netscape too.Ed.
*Thanks Sean,9/7/99......Much better.Hope that doesn't crowd the Microsoft people too much. Thanks again,Ed. Williams
*UhhCheck it again later, Ed. .. It's doin it again to me. . . kind of selective. I just posted to a new question and had to scroll to read what I was writing, but as I wrirte this I don't have to. Last night same thing!!!Betcha Sean hasn't done anythin yet. . . thinks we're all bozos.-pm
*heh heh heh...ok. now i will fix it. i'll set it small enough for average users to avoid side scrolling.sean.
*Cute Sean, real cute. . . now it's so frickin small it's like trying to write on a postage stamp, I gotta put my bifocals on just to read it, and I don't own any!!! And now you just made it big again, while I was editing. .. you playin with me boy???Surely there's a middle ground? Like maybe the way it used to be???regardspatrick
*better?i dunno what things look like to you addled homebuilders :
*Okay. . . I got it sussed out now. When you (me) first write a post the box is ridiculously small now, but when you (me) flip back to edit said post suddenly the box is larger, like it always used to be before you started screwin with it, without needing to scroll. . . so what's the deal Howie???-pm
*I would like to see all the edit boxes made the same size. The box I am using now is a perfect size. But if I were to click on 'reply' to one of the messages before me, or if I posted this and then decided to edit it, I get a huge box that is more than a mere pain in the ass to deal with.I am stuck with a very small monitor, so I can't change the screen size to 800x600. I am viewing in 640x480. I believe the majority of people online are viewing in 640x480 just because they don't know any better, as well.
