The back of my house buts up to a easement which may or may not be owned by the county. The easement has a 5ft(on my side of the wall) block wall which seperates my yard from the public park and school. there are some low income apts on the other side of the park. These mental giants like to take their stereo speakers place them on the fence around their porch and have parties into the wee hours of the morning. danceing and having a ball when i much like most of you guys gotta get up about 5am to get to work . Yes ive called the police on them many times. Now what can I do short of going postal to stop or dampen the noise coming over the fence. ive considered raiseing the block wall fence up to 8'( I think thats max height for code around around here gotta check though) But is their any other method out their in ciber world that you can pass on to a sleep deprived individual.
*Ron; I sympathise. I have my own "mental giants"in the form of a neighbor 17 year old with car stereospeakers with wattage greater than his i.q. Youknow that sub-sonic woofer vibration that rattles the windows. Lots of ideas about how to achievepeace and quiet. None of the legal. I think you have to: move, wait for them to move, wait foran aging society to lose it's capacity to toleratethis crap, or wait until constant exposure to their "music" renders them too deaf to enjoy it. *I had the same problem a few years ago. Also had problems with traffic, crime, pollution,and people always in my way. I found my solution here:
*I'd Move.
* Be careful.
