Hello All!
Just finished a repair job – copper fitting sprung a pin hole leak – damaged flooring, drywall, etc. We got everything put back together and the ice maker does not work. This is water and ice through the door. Water works fine but no ice after 3 days. Checked the on/off bar but not sure what else to look at. Anything easy to look for or do a tell my client to call the appliance repair man?

How exposed it is the leads on the soleniod might have gotten knocked off in the moving around.
Typically there will be a pair of them mounted right where the water line attaches.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Feel around where the cubes come out - the mechanism may be frozen up from when you were working on it. if the cubes are frozen and the "fingers" can't push them out, use a heat gun or hair dryer to defrost the area (carefully so you don't melt any plastic) to give the mechanism a chance to get moving again.
a frozen water line feeding the ice maker can cause the same thing, but in this case the maker will be empty since water can't get to it. work your way along the line near the ice maker with the hair dryer until you hear water flow.
i have seen both happen before.
I agree with Rich, check the tray and see if it has water/ice in it. When these things sit sometimes the inlet tube ices up.
This guy has the best web site I have seen for fixing them but you do have to poke around a bit. Great information, tough navigation.

Shop for parts, these fix it web sites usually don't have the best parts deals.
dirt got into the solinoid , if you have water up to solinoid probily
A month ago my well pump died and had to be replaced ($1,700 later!) and afterwards, the icemaker stopped working. I don't know why the coincidence, but I unplugged the freezer and opened the door for almost 2 hours, and it started back up. So I had frozen up somewhere, I guess.
Try the easy fix before delving into solenoids, etc.

Pop off the plastic cover and see if the plastic gear has broken. Easy fix if so.
