Hi all,
I’ve got a need for an inset/inset/offset hinge.
It’s for a pantry cabinet. The door is 15″ x 50″. It’s inset, and set back 1/4″ from the face. Because they’re are drawers behind, it needs to open 179°, and be offset from the frame by 1/4″.
I haven’t tried to put a pic on this site since the troubles, but here goes.
<p><img src=”http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a0df09b3127ccef96cbe31860700000030O00CcuGzlu0bsge3nwo/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D720/ry%3D480/”>
and to be on the safe side, there’s an attachment.
Thanks

Rockler tends to have a pretty good selection of "cup" hinges, including some oddball ones not to far from what you seek. But their selection varies over time, so you gotta go there and look.
i have no idea
but just wanted to say hello.
Hello!
thanks.

Buddy!
I see the place is still a wellspring of info and good times...guess I'll amble over to JLC LOL!
The hinges from Blum, Grass, and others will do this quite naturally but your 1/4" inset is a stretch. I've done 3/16" before with little cussing. Mock up a sample to see for yourself where the clearances need to be.
Clearances...
that's the whole pickle, eh? LOL I was just being hopeful that someone had run into this before and had done my legwork!
I could get away with an 1/8" reveal if need be... just starting where I want to be and working backwards, ha.
