   *I did staple-up radiant floors in my house, had to insulate under the first floor to keep the basement from being a sweat shop. While I used cellulose everywhere else, here I used Owens Corning Miraflex (Supposedly, but I don't buy it, less-itchy fiberglass that comes wrapped in a poly tube). I didn't feel this insulation was critical, the orange box had Miraflex cheap, and installing the stuff was fairly painless. Liking my fiberglass plastic-wrapped,Andy

   I am going to insulate the ceiling in my cellar (craft paper facing heated space and fiberglass side exposed in cellar). The cellar is cold - around 40 degrees in the winter. Don't want cold transferring to upstairs. Furnace is in another room. Could blow some heat in to room to keep water pipes from freezing. This is an old house w/stone walls and cement floor in cellar. Will always be in unfinished state. I don't want room exposed to the fiberglass. Thinking of stapling something like breathable housewrap to joists to cover insulation. Good idea or any better ones out there? Thanks. -Frank
