I JUST READ GENE LEGERS’ ARTICLE REGARDING THE INSTALLATION OF FACED INSULATION IN THE STUD AND RAFTER SPACES (F-H #145 PAGE 20). HE MAKES SOME GOOD POINTS REGARDING AIRFLOW AND FIRE SPREAD RATES WHICH I WON’T DEBATE, HOWEVER I GUESS WE NO LONGER NEED TO CONCERN OURSELVES WITH THE USE OR COST OF CONSTRUCTION ADHESIVE TO AFFIX THE PANELS TO THE WALLS AND CEILINGS. I JUST WORRY NOW THAT WE WILL BE SUFFERING THROUGH A LOT OF CALLBACKS AND EXPENSE FOR NAIL POPS AND REPAINTING. ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS ALL YOU BUILDERS?
