I know this has been discussed but I cant find the archive, What is your preferred method of interior door installation? I like to case one side of the door, hang it, then case the other side. Of course this doesnt work to well with plinth blocks.

Myself I like to first make sure that the opening is plumb , or at least the hinge side is plumb.I then attatch the hinge side with zero head screws, as they can be taken out if I make a mistake or to quickly adjust the reveals. Once the hinge side is secure I shim the rest of the door to make sure my reveals are equal.I finish installing, snap of my shims and then the door is ready to trim. Hope this helps but everyone hangs there doors a different way.The zero heads are available up here in canada and do a great job.
*Zero heads ? Is that like trim screws ?

*joe, maybe he meant check it for plumb before putting the door in the opening..that's what we do...then if there is an obvious problem, we correct it and fine tune the door jamb after we put it in the opening...maybe it's just the old language thing again...

*Sorry Joe..I was speaking canadian and maybe there was a language barrier..ha ha. I meant just check to see if it is plumb, sometimes it is hardly out and you can adjust it with a loving tap with a sledge!
