I’m looking for a book or other publication showing lots of different kinds of interior trim — door, window, baseboard etc. Any suggestions? Thanks!

When I'm looking for ideas I generally just drop into the local Chapter's bookstore (if I was in the US, maybe I would be going to a Barns & Noble ?)and look over the many books. If you want variations, then look through the books on "Victorian" houses (although these tend to deal more with the exterior, like "Victorian Gingerbread Patterns & Techniques" by Spielman and Reidle. If you want to know how it all goes together, the "Graphic Guide to Interior Details" by Thallon, or "Trim Carpentry Techniques" by Savage are available.
If you just want to know what profiles are common, then get an Outwater catalog or a HD Pro Book
*Victorian - "Robert's Illustrated Millwork Catalog" E.L. Roberts & Co. Dover PublicationsContemporary - "the Hardworking House" Johnny Grey distributed in U.S by Sterling Publishing, NY, NYCraftsman style - "Greene & Greene The Passion and the Legacy" Randell L. Mackinson, Gibbs-Smith Publisher, Salt Lake Cityor, "Inside the Bungalow America's Arts & Crafts Interior" Duchscherer&Keister, Penguin Studio, NY, NY
*Also try your local lumberyard. Most of the ones around here have a profile book that shows the trim they handle, from crown to base and in between. Skip

Thank you Phill, Jim, and Skip! This is my first use of these pages and I really appreciate your responses!
