Hi all. I’m rick from NJ.
I’m refurbishing my double hung wood windows in my circa 1950 house. After reglazing, my sash will be in perfect condition. The metal tube balances, however, are all either missing or broken. Instead of buying new tube balances I’m thinking of buying simple metal jambliners. I don’t need tilt out. Does anyone have a recommendation or suggestion? Thanks.

Bump....
I have only seen jamb liners in conjunction with replacement sash sets, like the Marvin tilt-pacs. There are a few sets of replacement sash and liners from Lindal sitting in my shop waiting for their day. I'm sure there's someone out there who makes jamb liner of some description, but why wouldn't you simply refurbish the existing?
Not familiar with the sash balance mechanisms you mention, but there are several good types available for retrofit, and you can always refurb the old lead-weight-and-pulley types.
