        A forum for professional floorlayers and finishers, who nevertheless are willing to help anyone who posts.

        If you think you know a more knowledgeable forum then I suggest you post a link.

          I'm sorry I guess I should have elaborated.  I went to that forum and read a few posts, and about half of them were ads.  One was about a page of mortgage names, another was some porno stuff.  They look to be posted by the same couple of people and the topic titles were like " how to finish your floor" click it open and it was full of that crap.  So I thought it was someones idea of a joke but I don't have time for that stuff.  That was my reason for the reply.  Thanks Jeff

          I just went back to the site and looks like it has been hit by some spam recently and the administrator is trying to get it cleaned up.  I swear though about every other topic I looked at had something about house mortgages or ect. Wasn't slamming anyones favorite site guys sorry for the mistake.

            Jeff, you are right. A few months ago it started getting bombarded with porno, gambling, etc. posts. The site managers have been unable to set up the necessary security measures...the regulars seem to ignore the crap. Shame...BTW,I am just a diy who visits the site to learn. If you can work your way around the bullsh+t there's lots of good info there.Cheers,
