Just bought the Kobalt texute hopper at lowes and I must say the design sucks. Every detail is counter productive. The whole idea behind it standing up on its own it faulty. From the length of the fittings to the stand. The rubber boot looked like a good idea on the box but in the field was a catastophe. The boot barely fits over the mouth of the gun so there is no way to secure the band clamp enough to ensure it wont slip off.
Very disappointed. It comes with a stand but the stand merely falls over and could never hold the weight of a half full hopper. The rubber boot that connects the gun and the hopper could not support the weight of a load in the hopper. It merely buckles over and dumps the entire contents on the floor. (YES< that is what happened to me).
The gun itself i had no problems with.
I will be returning it and hoping I wont get grief because it has been used once.
Don’t buy it.
