Ok, I know this will sound funny, seeing as everyone likes cute, harmless, loveable ladybugs, but I’ve got an infestation that is driving me nuts. I must have vacuumed a thousand of them in the last four months and they just keep comming. One of them is crawling on my screen as I type this note. Awww, so cute, …flick…
This is a new house, drywalled, heated, plumbed, electrified, but no trim, no flooring, minimal interior finish. Where the heck do they live and what do they eat?
Thanks,
Scott.

We had 'em bad last year, too. Very few this year, thank goodness.
They're just hibernating in the warm spaces, nooks, crannies, slivers in your home 'til the temp goes up outside. They ain't eatin' anything.
They're in your house cause they "run to the light." I found plenty of passages around the ceiling lights. Prompted me to seal those.
There is a theory that they are attracted to certain siding colors.
They bite, painfully, if they are Chinese variety.
Flick, vac, flick, vac. Throw away the vac at the end of the year cause you'll never get the smell out.

The ones that bite aren't lady Bugs ,they are Bitch Bugs;)
I want to be a male ladybug!!!
From the article in Wikipedia.org (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladybug) --
"The ladybird beetle copulates for up to nine hours at a time, and males may have three 90-minute orgasms in one session."
Oh, so that's what they've been doing in my house all Winter. They certainly aren't just hibernating. ....Thought I heard some funny sounds at night....

Be careful what you wish for. After 60 minutes you'd be wanting to get this thing over with, so that you could have a beer and a roast beef sandwich."With every mistake we must surely be learning"

Me thinks your house is full of aphids. Or aphid eggs.
Perhaps your vacuuming can get enough to sell on Ebay?
worked on a house with very light colored siding ...
after 2 in the afternoon U couldn't walk around the back ... whole side was swarmed .... japanese beetles or something like that ... the kind that bite.
I'da painted the house black ....
