Laquer finish formica countertop

Is there a laquer I can put on a formica countertop to restore the shine and to protect it?

       Sure but it won't stick well and quickly peel off..

    You'd be better off trying to buff it out a bit with some automotive products and a buffer.

    The repair of laminate is not available. Or anything that works that is.
