Lenox just released a MAP gas torch kit that looks awesome. You can check it out at:

Anyone use it yet? It’s compact, and has storage for flux and solder. Had to mug myself to keep from buying it the other day at the plumbing supply house….

Looks expensive. What did they want for it?
Sorry for the long delay in replying, I've been slammed. I think the plumbing supply wanted $200. It's portable, neat, and unfortunately too expensive to justify....
Dr. Egon Spengler: There's something very important I forgot to tell you.
Dr. Peter Venkman: What?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Don't cross the streams.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Why?
Dr. Egon Spengler: It would be bad.
Dr. Peter Venkman: I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad"?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Dr Ray Stantz: Total protonic reversal.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.
I prefer the good ole Turbo¯ when it comes to mapp gas.
In all honesty I like Lenox tools, but this looks a bit too gadgety, I usually just have my mapp torch in my bucket.
But when it comes to "B" tank set ups oh yeah I love the Lenox ones.

Unlees I have to use an A32 tip, then the reg doesn't allow enough gas out to power that tip.
I'm with you, I prefer the Turbo torch to most anything I can do without the 'B' tank.
But I gotta tell you, in tight spaces that thing can be loud! The Lenox rig looks pretty cool, I may have to look for that one. Dragging a 'B' tank by the gauge is a pain.
I just bought it! Got a $9,000 job and have justified buying it (in my own mind at least!) Since I've been using Kitec II pex to replace all the copper that the crackheads have been stealing from the foreclosures, I really only need to solder an adaptor or two, and then I'm off crimping......
I do like the other tanks that Lenox makes too.....
