Hello Everyone. I guess we as users need to do a few things to protect what has been a useful source of information and a relaxing diversion for the last few years.

First – This is the hand we’ve been dealt so the best thing to do is to try and figure out how to become comfortable with it. To me, it feels like I’m reading plans somebody drew in the metric system. I’m confused and nothing is in the right place.

Second – Let’s give the SysAdmin some realistic changes to improve the system so we don’t lose everybody who has provided quality insight and information over the years.

I’d like to start out by suggesting some changes that have been echoed on other posts so far.

Frames – Get rid of them on all but the start-up page. Nobody suddenly has to go to the gardening page. Ever.

Buttons and Links – How about modifying them to reflect something closer to the way the old site was navigated. There are too many superfluous and ambiguous areas on any given page.

Sandbox – Maybe a real tutorial is needed. Going to Fusco’s site is OK but this site needs to be responsible for educating its users. Like most sandboxes, this one seems to have been used by the cats.

Last of all – I come to this site to read posts, discuss relavant topics, and hopefully learn something. The actual messages have taken a back seat to other items. A cluttered and confusing site can’t help anybody.
