I am looking for blueprints,designers,etc.. The theme for the whole subdivision is Country English,Country French. I already have some Jack Arnold blueprints and really like the outside. The insides however, I’m not thrilled with.
If you know of someone or have any suggestions,or ideals as to where I can look please let me know.
Thanks.

How 'bout under A for Architect?
Charlie,
There are several web sites that have tons of plans, I used EPLANS.com They have plans from different areas of the country. The one BIG warning I have is find out what your local building department is going to accept. My County would not accept the plans until they had been reviewed by a local engineer for earthquake loads. This may not sound like much but it added about $1500 to the cost of the plans.

Have you checked out Southern Living magazines house plans? You can preview them at southernliving. com Look in the lower right corner of their home page for directions to the plans section. Great looking homes in a huge range of sizes.
If you want to keep costs down, don't let your wife find this site. Have fun.
Thanks to all. Oldlou you starter me to thinking and I found some unique designs from a Goodhouse Keeping Blueprint book. They will work.Southern Living has great designs and being in the south they are one of our greatest sources for house designs. However I am looking for old English and French Country.
And as far as using an architech they charge $15,000.00 just for design work, weather you like the product or not. Besides I'm speck building and what I find in SL ,etc., is just fine.
Again Thanks
Charlie
