Local lumber place (in Massachusetts) was selling what they call a “premium spruce 2×4”. They definitely look better quality than their regular stuff but I’m trying to figure out the stamp. Picture is attached but it looks like “WC LB(R) MILL 699, KD-HT No 2 SC.P-N.SPR(I)GER”. The first part I’m assuming is manufacturer, KD-HT No2 I know, N.SPR I’m guessing is northern spruce but what’s SC.P, (I), and GER? Any opinions on how good these would be?
