The charger will turn off by itself.
A Makita fast charger will charge the batteries better and help them last longer.
LiIon batteries suck in the cold.
Typical LI-Ion batteries also decrease their maximum capacity over a surprisingly short time. I have seen articles which say that the LI-Ion batteries will decrease by 10% per year, but my laptop LI-Ion batteries have been crapping out about twice that fast even when I try my best to treat them gently. I haven't looked up the expected lifespan of ni-mh batteries, however.
thank you for the info.
Yep, charge overnight. The charger will shut itself off, unless you have a ultra-cheapie unit (in which case you'll need overnight anyway). Should be a charge light on the unit that goes off when it's charged.
thanks for the info.
