I”m going to have to try and match the finish on some prefinished Maple flooring from Bruce on some stair teads and trim. The finish is so slick and clear it almost looks shrink-wrapped and was wondering what site-applied finish might come closest to it.I know other than acrylic any polys will add amber caste to it.Could it be a brush on laquer?I’d appreciate any help anyone would have.
I also would like to find a supplier of maple corner round or shoe mold but most people i talked to would only run 1000’lots…someday.I only need about 400 and would make it on the saw and router table but find it hard to do without much chatter marks and tearouts. Thanks alot.

Tree, try a cabinet supplier. You can get maple molding of various profiles normally used to match maple cabinets. You may pay more, but it will probably be prefinished so may save you some labor.
Hope this helps. Rich.
Bruce might have some prestained moulding you can make work. Give the floor store a call. Jeff She's exotic ,but not foreign, like an old Cadillac......she's a knockout!
Try http://www.lumberliquidators.com for your shoe molding. They have almost any species you want.
