I’ve got a really basic question on materials storage.
I’ve got some wood floor trusses and subflooring coming in about two weeks. I’m going to need to store them for a two weeks before I can get to using them and need some storage advice.
They’ll be stored outside. I am in the midwest so we’re talking hot humid days.
I was thinking of putting everything up on 4×4 cribbing and covered with a tarp, plywood first with the trusses on top. Should I wrap the bottom as well or just worry about keeping water of the top and sides?

If yer going to hand stack this...
4x4 cribbing first.
Then one layer of 2x material. With space in between.
Then the plywood. Then the rest of the material.
The tarp should not be tight wrapped. Make a sort of roof, to allow air circulation.
But to be honest, you can pretty much toss everything on the ground if it is going to be two dry weeks in the midwest. LOL
Are we there yet ?

Thanks Luka. Given our current drought, rain won't likely be a problem. But just like washing your car, I am sure the minute this stuff gets delivered it is gonna pour.
