I’m doing a fire restoration project, and I need to apply some mildewcide to the floor joists on the underside of the floor where the water from putting out the fire seeped through. The floor is above a crawl space that has another ceiling below it. The ceiling joists and the top side of the drywall below need sprayed as well.
Question: What should I use to spray on these materials that will inhibit or stop the growth of mold?
Thanks,
Bryan

I believe it was the US Forest Products Laboratory website that mentioned using bleach, and gave a concentration to use. Try searching for mold remediation forest products lab or something like that.
Of course, after you spray, the faster you can dry it and drier you can get it before closing it up the better.
