Wife went on a shopping bus trip to Woodfield Mall(large mall) in Chicago yesterday. Security was very obvious. Security met them when they got there. Times before they were always greeted by mall personell. The driver parks the bus and spends the day doing what ever. In the evening when he went to get his bus, he was escorted by security and before he was allowed to enter his bus, was asked numerous questions that only the real bus driver would know. If he didn’t answer all questions correctly, he would not have been allowed to get the bus. One question they ask, was who the escort for the group was, it was my wife, and he remembered her name. They said they are watching the buses real close to make sure the wrong people didn’t try to take them for what ever reason(terrrorist?). They mentioned that there 30 UPS trucks missing at present in the US. Makes you wonder what’s up. What better cover would you need…

Roger on the security but 30 trucks out of a national fleet doesn't sound like anything to me. In fact, it sounds like their maintenance is doing a good job.
*The missing trucks bit is a hoax.http://www.snopes2.com/rumors/ryder.htmdid
*Oh, so that's what happened to the truck I've been waiting on to deliver my new software.
*We got the same email about three weeks ago. Someone had added a bit about FedEx and UPS trucks also missing. Didn't give it much credence at the time. Sounded bogus. Thanks for the link.Eric
*Snopes.com is a good one. Stuff shows up there long before it gets to me, and they generally provide support for their conclusion. The stuff that's true there is interesting too!did
