Does any one have any info on mulling windows within 1 mile of the coast in mass. can it be done ?

I don't know about windows, but I like mulling cider on the coast.
Call Mahoneys Lumber in Mattapoisett (508-758-6921) and ask. Anderson and others never questioned how close I was using mulled windows I ordered. I don't believe it. If there are particular manufacturers that are restricted I think it would be good to know.

Marvin has "guidelines" on how it should be done. You should use a piece called a structural mull filler made from steel or use an LVL. The individual manufacturer should supply exact instructions in order to keep up the required DP rating.
