Nailing last FC clapboard

I’m close to finishing re-siding a house with FC and am wondering how you handle the top piece.  Since the rest is blind nailed it seems less than ideal to put a bunch of roofing nails across that last piece.  Do you use finishing nails?

    we face nail under the windows.. and up the rakes with SS siding nails

      I have been thinking about this myself - As the FC is face-nailed about an inch or so from the top, what about rabbetting the frieze to overlap the top clapboard?
