Arm, I am up to my ass in elbows, but I may be able to help you out. It is a small world up here and I know most of the folks.
Your question sent bells off, let's talk.
*Armin, what is the name of the town the project is in?
*Project is located near Windham on Lake Canobie
*Armin I do bit of restoration (about 16 years worth). Maybe I can help. What are you restoring? What kind of carpentry? Post & beam, stick built or some other? Bill D. Quality Wood Chips
*Bill, I'm almost embarrased to say, but it's a 70's peace of crap that needs everything. It seems to be partially post and beam and rather sound structurally. The interior is a hodge-podge of everything and will be totally redone. At the moment I'm trying to work out some sort of a game plan with the client. First order of business is to find a good finish carpenter to work with me as well as do a portion of the project by himself some cabinet and built in work also. Next year I will need a crew for roofing (Cold roof) and exterior work.
*Armin:Try Jeff Hosking at floorboards.com for the hardwood installer. His family has been in the business for forty years in the Boston area, so he knows the hacks from the craftsmen.
*Call him direct. If he's not in he WILL return your call.877-356-6755 or local 508-668-8315
*Thanks Ralph, I'll give him a try.
