Hey guys and gals; anybody have experience with the plastic type entry trim. Client wants us to take down all the wood around her entry and replace it with something with no maintenance. She found some product on the web, but when I called three weeks ago for a catalog they said no problem but I never recieved it. So my question is; what companys have you delt with and were happy with? TIA

I'm sure you are talking about outside trim that is massive in nature. I have used simple plastic brick mold and found it to be a good product. Recently trimmed an interior door with a wide fluted trim that included corner blocks. Found the stuff actually melted during the cut unless the saw blade was moved rapidly thru the plastic. Also have spoken with people installing garage door trim systems (vinyl?) that commented on the complexity and extra time it took.
