Anyone familiar with deck material by Bay Tree Technologies, USA. called Pure Wood Decking. Some sort of thermally modified wood. Their website is www.purewoodproducts.com.
Supposedly has been used in Europe for years. I would use in a south Florida deck application, lots of sun on a southern exposure, and wonder if anyone is familiar with this product. Don’t want to use composite, surface gets to hot. Comments would be appreciated. Thanks

if this is anything like accoya (it looks like the treatment is very similar) it should be really good.
accoya is an option from my window supplier and is guarenteed for 50 years against rot and when it is factory finished they give a 15 year life before redecoration.
only costs about 10 or 15% more i think..............
I haven't used it yet though!
According to the manufacturer, the material is southern yellow pine that has been kiln dried at rediculously high temperatures, which makes it rot resistant, etc...
Product still has to be maintained like any other wood deck once installed
