Hey Folks,
I’ve been perusing the archives looking for good info on metal roofing. I’ve got a client who would like a non standing seam metal roof, possibly colored. Any info out there on brand name or specifically coated metals for the job? I’m looking for something time tested and preferably no need to buy specialty tools.
Thanks for any input!

If you're talking about sheetmetal for barn roofs, any lumberyard will have it or can order it in two dozen colors and half a dozen patterns. Used occasionally on house roofs for asthetic reasons. To the non-roofer, standing seam and other metal roofs look the same.
*David,Try http://www.mtlsales.com/ for some info. There are lots of different metal panels, shingles and shake styles. KK
*I've had good luck with BHP but there are others out there that are probably just as good, I just haven't experimented once I found one I was happy with.
*Strongpanel, made by National Steel, 20th and State Streets, Granite City Illinois 62040 built the roof I installed on a barn. Considering the low cost, I was happy with the results. Email me if you'd like more information.
