if the carpet is spec'd,i would talk to the carpet seller. some carpet can be seamed any which way and be fine, other gets pretty cranky.
a good carpet layer can make such a difference, when they are done theres a plastic bag of cutoffs and thats it.
just my opinion,i have had some really bad luck with Shaw carpet,48.00 a yd for just the carpet.the warranty is worthless as the problems started at 3 months. the carpet really tracked down and looked bad, do you know what there reason was for denying? we was walking on it with barefeet! yeah the oil in our feet was doing it. if my feet produced that much oil i could make bio diesel out of it!
but on paper it has a 20 year warranty
the older i get ,
the more people tick me off
