what kind of wood is best for an outside kitchen cabinet ?It will be covered but the sides will be exposed.The weather here gets in the 100s in summer and 30s in the winter with 40”plus of rain.Also Im wondering about joinery and glue.I have home grown white oak,pear,fir&madrone I’d like to use.And what kind of finish?

I'd use the white oak. quite naturally rot resistant. exterior grade elmers or equivalent should work.
other rot resistant woods include: black walnut, virginia red cedar, red wood, white cedar, black locust.
red or black oak are NOT rot resistant.

I think I would look for wood from the Rubbermaid tree.
