Need to remove a pair of windows from a brick house and replace with a slider or an outswing door and a window.  After cutting out the brick below the window, finished size of brick is 70″ wide.  A little too small for a 6′ and a little too big for a 5′ slider.  Was thinking a hinged door and window would fit better and look better.  This is going into a very small kitchen and there’s no room for the usual inswing door.   I don’t much like outswing exterior doors because you can’t put up a screen or storm door.

Are there any decent outswing exterior doors that have an operable window in them?  I’ve seen some fairly cheap ones in mobile homes with sliding windows built into the door.  This needs to look less tacky than a mobile home door.  Not real fancy, but like a typical panel door.  Any thing like that exist?  Otherwise I’ll go with a small slider and trim it out to fit.
